4-LENS LEICA R SUMMICRON+ EF CINESET (Late-'80s)

The lenses are in top optical/ mechanical condition and were professionally QC inspected/ tested and cine-serviced to perfection. The Duclos Cine-Mods® & custom front caps are brand new.

9+/10 Cosmetics: Only slight signs of visible use/wear to the finish. No dents, dings or scratches.

9+/10 Optics: Clean, clear and professionally serviced as necessary (light normal micro-dusts may remain). Lens coatings and internal elements look great. Without: fungus, haze, fog, deep scratches or issues. 

9+/10 Mechanics: Focus movement is smooth and consistent. Aperture, iris have been professionally de-clicked/dampened by Duclos Lenses. Recently serviced as needed.

All Cine-Mods^® are new and were recently installed by Duclos Lenses out of LA.

The rendering style of these late-'80s Leica R lenses can be characterized as a balance between older, film-like vintage and a cleaner, more modern Leica look. Wide open, contrast is light/medium, saturation is medium but the center is sharp. The Leica color palette from this vintage strikes a balance between cool and warm. The edges are relatively sharp, especially closed down, and may exude a dreamy Leica quality at larger apertures.

1. Focus Gear
Duclos seamless 32-pitch (0,8 module) focus gears are precision machined from solid Black Delrin^®, tailored to each lens individually in-house to ensure a no-slip, non-binding reliable fit. Every gear is machined and installed by a skilled technician on an individual basis to ensure a lifetime of accurate operation. No zips, clips, or 3D prints from Duclos Lenses!

2. Front Ring
Duclos front rings thread directly into the existing filter threads of your lens and provide a common 80mm outside diameter surface for clamp-on accessories as well as a 77mm filter thread on each ring. Precision machined from billet 6061 aluminum and anodized black for a durable finish. Available sizes range from a mere 47mm all the way up to an 82mm Step-Down ring.

3. Front Cap
Optical Brilliance-designed 80mm Front Caps include focal length, speed, series and close focusing distance all available 'at a glance.' This high quality cap fit snug and is composed of durable thermoplastic polymer with plated fronts for added protection.

4. De-Click / Dampen
Aperture de-clicking is a vital part of the Cine-Mod. A true cinema lens features a step-less aperture that allows fine adjustment without "clicking" between f-stops. Duclos Lenses modifies the aperture movement by removing the "click" mechanism and damping the movement to create a consistent, creamy rotation. They use a high-quality lubricant to ensure a professional feel and operation of your lens.

5. Duclos Canon EF/EOS mount
Duclos Lenses mount conversions are made from billet stainless steel to provide a robust, reliable marriage between your lens and camera body. All mount conversions include parts, hardware, installation, and calibration. The installation is carried out by a skilled technician and properly collimated using specialized test equipment.

This set covers most sensor sizes and is optimal for medium to large (i.e. Super-35 to Full Frame). The EF hard mounts ensures compatibility with Canon EF/EOS systems and countless others with an appropriate adapter.

Includes 3 months warranty on the lenses (covering normal use) and one year warranty on the Duclos Cine-Mods®.
