Leica R 100mm F2.8 APO-Macro-Elmarit-R ROM lens from 2002 in Near Mint condition. 

Note: This lens is ideal for both high-end cinematography and photography. After testing dozens, I've found these late ROM versions render more detail and micro-contrast than the common earlier pre-ROM ones.

Condition details (and see recent photos):

• Cosmetically: 9+/10 couple lights signs of use to the black finish with no damage to the body, mount or hood.
• Optically: 9+/10 very clean and without scratches, much dusts, haze, separation or oil on the blades. 
• Mechanically: 9+/10 Focus runs very smooth, consistent and without play. Aperture, iris, and built-in hood are in great working order. 

Lens comes as pictured with genuine: 
• Leica E60 front cap 
• Leica R rear cap
• Lens hood (built-in)
• Leica leather case (not pictured, but included)

Compatible with many Leica bodies and 3rd party cameras through inexpensive adapters including mirrorless, SLRs and motion camera systems (i.e. Sony, Canon, Red, Alexa, BMD, etc.).

9/10 Optics: Without fungus, haze, deep scratches, separation or oil on the blades. Upon close inspection typical tiny dusts may be visible.

9/10 Mechanics: Focus movement feels smooth and consistent. Aperture/iris and Cine-Mods® are in great working order.

Vintage Character

The rendering style of this 1990s Leica R lens maintains sharpness and unique Leica qualities at all apertures. The color palette from this vintage is fairly balanced between warm/cool. The image maintains a rich Leica character and it's APO designation minimizes CA and SA effects.
