The lenses are in top optical/mechanical condition and were professionally QC inspected/tested and cine-serviced to perfection. The Duclos Cine-Mods® & custom front caps are brand new.

9/10 Consmetics: Light signs of visible use/wear to the finish. No dents, dings or scratches to the body, mount or Cine-Mods^®.

8+/10 Optics: Without fungus, haze, separation or oil on the blades. Upon close inspection there are some typical fine dusts and faint coating marks but no deep scratches or significant issues.

9/10 Meachanics: Focus movement is very smooth and consistent. Aperture/iris and Cine-Mods^® are in great working order.

All Cine-Mods^® are new and installed by Duclos Lenses out of LA.

The rendering style of this late 1990s Leica R vintage lens maintains a more modern Leica look than its predecessors. Wide open, contrast and saturation is medium, the center is sharp at all apertures, whereas the edges render a touch softer at larger apertures. The Leica color palette from this vintage is fairly balanced but may lean slightly cooler. The overall image is relatively sharp but maintains a rich Leica character.

1. Focus Gear
Duclos seamless 32-pitch (0,8 module) focus gears are precision machined from solid Black Delrin^®, tailored to each lens individually in-house to ensure a no-slip, non-binding reliable fit. 2. Front Ring
Duclos front rings thread directly into the existing filter threads of your lens and provide a common 80mm outside diameter surface for clamp-on accessories as well as a 77mm filter thread on each ring. Precision machined from billet 6061 aluminum and anodized black for a durable finish. Available sizes range from a mere 47mm all the way up to an 82mm Step-Down ring.

3. Front Cap
Optical Brilliance-designed 80mm Front Caps include focal length, speed, series and close focusing distance all available 'at a glance.' This high quality cap fit snug and is composed of durable thermoplastic polymer with plated fronts for added protection.

4. De-Click / Dampen
Aperture de-clicking is a vital part of the Cine-Mod. A true cinema lens features a step-less aperture that allows fine adjustment without "clicking" between f-stops. Duclos Lenses modifies the aperture movement by removing the "click" mechanism and damping the movement to create a consistent, creamy rotation. They use a high-quality lubricant to ensure a professional feel and operation of your lens.

5. Duclos Canon EF/EOS mount
Duclos Lenses mount conversions are made from billet stainless steel to provide a robust, reliable marriage between your lens and camera body. All mount conversions include parts, hardware, installation, and calibration. The installation is carried out by a skilled technician and properly collimated using specialized test equipment.

This set covers most cameras and is optimal for medium to large-sized sensors (i.e. super-35 to full frame). EF hard mounts ensure compatibility with Canon EF/EOS systems, and adaptable to countless others.

Includes 3 months warranty on the lenses (covering normal use) and one year warranty on the Duclos Cine-Mods®.
